BETWEEN DANCE
AND CINEMA

The Festival explores the genre “videodance”, a hybrid form between dance and cinema, where the camera is part of the choreography. This symbiosis allows to create a movement with new structures of space and time, an unprecedented and uncommon fact in the classical theater scene. Using animation and electronic imaging technologies, movement is not only controlled by dancers.
